What's the most sensible thing you've ever heard someone say?
You must learn to forgive when you haven’t received an apology. Since hearing that advice I’ve always tried to apply forgiveness to everyday life and situations. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Mark 11:25
What gets you excited about life?
Raising our five children, my husband and l are excited to see our hard work and dedication develop in our family. We are raising them as respectful, independent and kind beings. Sometimes l wish time would slow down, but excited to live life with them each day.
If you had to teach something what would you teach?
I believe awareness is extremely valuable. As parents we strive to teach our children the value of being aware of not only your surroundings and behaviors, but to be sensitive towards others. Teaching awareness creates compassion.
How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?
I live my life with no regrets. I truly believe all life’s struggles with ups and downs are teaching and joyous moments that create growth. I’m happy and content being exactly the age I am today!
What is your idea of a fun date night?
A fun date night for my husband and I is something that we do often. First it usually involves takeout so I don’t have to cook for our family of seven. Once the kiddos are in bed, he and l sit on our screened in porch and enjoy the fire pit and music. It’s simple and relaxing both and we look forward to these quiet moments together.
