1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
I think of making a positive impact whether in a small way or a big way. The saying goes to be kind because you never know what someone else is going through. I think you can make a huge impact on another’s life by doing small acts of kindness such as smiling, listening, and complimenting. In the south, we bring a home-cooked casserole. A person can “be the change” in a big way by bringing awareness to a cause that is important to them, which is exactly what I hope to do as a “Team Fox” member with the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
My husband is very loving and supportive. He consistently puts mine and our children’s needs and desires ahead of his own and strives to be the best husband and father. He is a very “hands on” dad by staying involved and helping in the day to day around our home. Without his support, I would not be able to have the well-balanced and happy life that I have between work, family, and extracurricular, including being Mrs. Georgia International 2022!

3.What do you love to cook and why?
I would go back to the time when I was three years old and my mom took me to Disney World for the first time. It is one of my first memories ever because the chocolate Mickey Mouse ice cream bar melted all over me! She took me back several times and we always had the best time together. To this day, I have such nostalgia for the place and love taking my own kids!

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
I think the most likely description would be a “Goody Two-Shoes”! I never got in trouble, made good grades, and was involved in several extracurricular activities such as academic clubs and volunteering. I loved having fun with friends on the weekends. I was also, at times, painfully shy. As I’ve aged, I’ve overcome my shyness but all the other qualities remain the same. Those good grades have also paid off!

5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
My husband is a car aficionado and often speaks of one day owning a rebuilt classic Ford Bronco or Land Rover Defender 90 or 110. I would love to deliver one to him with a big red bow on top. I think the best part of gift giving is the receiving person’s reaction, and I know his reaction would be priceless. Never say never!
