1.When you hear the saying "be the change" what comes to your mind first?
“Don't be afraid of change.” This is the phrase that I always keep in my mind.
Things are always changing. Change or no change, nothing will change unless we take the first step.
Even a small step can be a GIANT LEAP.
2.How would you describe your husband?
He is like the ocean, calm and encompassing to our family. As a husband and father, he is always there to embrace us. He's the kind of man who, if I ever think I need a tissue, will pass of it to me before I even reach for it! Without him, I would not be a perfect wife, mother, and physician.
3.If you could revisit one memory as a child in your mind, what would it be and why?
My mother's family home in Kyoto, which I often visited as a child. I remember playing with my cousins in the garden and being surrounded by warm sunshine and smiling faces. Every time I recall those memories, my feelings are warm and peaceful.
4.How would someone describe you when you were in high school?
As my name suggests, I was told that you’re a bright girl who never stops smiling like the sun. My name 陽子means "bright as the sun"! I was told that I was a child who grabbed something and got back up even if I falls, never gives up. Practicing as a rhythmic gymnast, and I was also studying for edical school and living my student life with the goal of absorbing something new every day.
5.If money did not matter.. what would you buy for your husband and why?
I want to give them the gift of time to read as many books as they want on a deserted island without worrying about time and without being disturbed.
As a husband and as a father, he is always working for me and our children and does not have enough time to read his favorite books, so I want to give him time to read one book from beginning to end without anyone interrupting him. My happiness is that he is happy.
