1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
To me the saying “be the change” has always represented an opportunity to transform and improve, especially with my actions, to make the world a better place. To not wait for others to drive change, but to have the initiative; starting in my personal or professional life and going beyond to help the world to be environmentally sustainable and to make equality and empathy key values for our society. We can drive change together now!

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
Juan Carlos, my husband, is a very loving, honest, dedicated and disciplined person and the most supportive life partner! He likes sports and having a healthy lifestyle. He enjoys spending time with both of our families. He adores animals, to the point where if it was up to him, we would have 50 rabbits. He is a very competitive person; he races motorcycles professionally here in Costa Rica. He is also a professional piano player, the best I know.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
I danced and sung since I was little, I have memories of dancing and singing to my aunts, uncles and grandparents when I was 4 years old, and doing choreographies for my friends. I would revisit a neighborhood’s Holiday party: my entire family was there, all neighbors brought food to share, my friends and I presented two choreographies, it was pure joy among my love ones; we had a “piñata” … imagine the happiness.

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
When I was in high school, I was a positive leader and empathic. I was the girl with great grades, helping others to improve. I was very outgoing and determined, I was classroom president; and participated on many extracurricular activities, always looking for new and creative ideas to do things. I participated in different national contests for mathematics, physics, geography, a human rights workshop. I played volleyball for the high school and province: Alajuela.

5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
I would buy JuanCa motorcycles and a racetrack, since he loves racing. The track would be free for people to practice cycling and, of course, motorcycle racing. It would be a space for his friends and families to spend the day and barbecue, because we enjoy spending time with our families and close friends. That place would have pools and outdoor gyms, to enjoy Costa Rica’s beautiful weather while continuing our healthy lifestyle.
