1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
"Be the Change" means each person must change, even if by small steps. Big achievements start with a small step. The first step takes courage. However, it eventually becomes a change, facilitated by the encounters and discoveries along the way. My platform is that "People take on a new challenge and find your new potentials”. It tells you that the incentive to take the first step towards change is to find your new potentials.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
I met my husband Yasuo in Kindergarten. We were also classmates in high school. That’s why we understand each other so well. He has a great sense of humor and respects each other’s independence. We keep a good relationship even when we are striving towards different goals. He has been my precious partner for 26 years, always encouraging me and making me laugh, like when I passed my tax qualification exam or overcame cancer.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
In spent my childhood in the suburbs of Tokyo, When I played with my father and two elder brothers, I was absorbed, surrounded by nature and its creatures. Grasshoppers and mantis in the fields, fishes in the river, dogs and cats. Whenever I face a difficult situation, my memory of nature helps me to overcome these difficulties. I am grateful to my family because this childhood memory has taught me the healing power of nature.

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
In high school, thanks to my many welcoming friends, I expressed myself freely, talking and laughing all the time. Friends made me confident that I would always be accepted by others and it had a positive impact on my communication abilities. My high school days were blessed with joy but also learnt to work seriously, studying hard, staying up late at night. My friends tell me I was always funny, diplomatic, energetic and worked hard.

5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
Yasuo has enjoyed tennis ever since junior high, still entering tennis tournaments almost every weekend. No matter how tired or busy, he never skips tennis. It is a source of healing and energy for him. Before my breast cancer, we played mixed doubles. Now our son has taken my place. When the two play tennis, they are really happy. I want to take them to see the Wimbledon tournament. That would be a lifetime memory.
