1.Tell us a funny story about a date night out with your husband.
One of the funniest date nights my husband and I have had would be our first date. Michael and I met on Tinder, and we organized a simple date in the city. We went and had burgers (which Michael was very surprised about, because he thought I was a salad girl) then after burgers we went and had Ben and Jerry’s ice cream then went to an amazing desert place called Brunettis. Things were going great, sparks flying in every direction. Once we sit down next to each other after ordering our coffees and deserts Michael places his hands on my knees (I hate people touching my knees, it’s a phobia, it seriously weirds me out ) anyway as we’re sitting there he is rubbing his hand up and down my knee, because I’m so weirded out I move his hand up my leg, in his head he’s think “he’ll yeah I’m in”, in my head I’m thinking “get your bloody hand of my knee”. To this day we still laugh bout our first date and and he’s still to this day touching my knees and I’m still moving them away.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your kitchen and why?
My special occasion Christmas crockery/decor. Anyone who knows me knows that Christmas is my favorite time of year. Not only do I love the decorations, the presents/ gift giving, but to me it’s about family and food. Bringing everyone together to feast over amazing home cooked meals (cooked by me because I love cooking christmas food). Seeing everyone having fun and laughing, playing Christmas games.. I cherish my all my Christmas stuff.
3.What do people assume about you that isn’t true?
That I’m a clean and tidy person in our home I cook and my husband is the cleaner. We have set chores that we both do as in our house we are a team and everything is a team effort. We both work full time, give all our time to our daughter Audrey and do everything we can to spend as much time together by doing the little things.
4.Tell us a time you demonstrated leadership skills.
In my job I am a Member Support Manager, everyday I am doing the best I can to be the best leader I can. Everyday I am training not just myself in learning new things and always teaching my staff. I encourage those around me to grow to be the best versions of themselves as well doing the same for me. I am a really big people person, and my outgoing personality allows me to be open to new opportunities and meeting new people.
5.If you had no fear, what would you try?
I don’t have any fear with the life I share with my husband and daughter. We live our lives to the fullest way possible. Always going on new adventures, trying new things and doing all sorts of activities together.
My husband and I both have so many dreams and goals that we want to accomplish, and slowly and patiently (someone’s both my husband and are aren’t so patient ), we will accomplish everything we desire.
