Ashley Tesoro - Top 15

1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
"Be the change" means being a good person, and setting a positive example through my words and my actions. My motto is "helping to change the world one person at a time." Every day I have a fresh opportunity to impact a life, group of individuals, and to reach out and lend my hand of intervention and love. You never know what one act of kindness can do to turn someone's entire circumstance around.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
My husband Pastor Anthony Tesoro is the most giving and incredible human being I have ever known. He is selfless, kind, adorable, with a great sense of humor! We founded our Christian non-profit organization Tesoro Ministry Foundation, Inc. 20 years ago. He's inspired me since the moment I met him in 2001 at his Los Angeles, CA Bible study. He's given me the courage to reach out and help as many people possible.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
I always loved being on stage. As a child, I had the privilege of performing in many theatrical plays; I sang in church, and I was cast in various professional entertainment television shows. It was a lot of work; and incredibly rewarding! Through it all I went through exciting times and difficult times. I was able to live my dream and my passion; and I'm so thankful for those experiences that helped to shape me.

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
In high school I would be described as hard working, kind, with a lot of sass! I had confidence and enjoyed performing arts and singing in my local church. I endured bullying as well. There were definitely times of sadness I went through in high school. Those hard moments helped to build greater compassion and understanding in me; and I've carried those lessons into my adult years.

5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
If money did not matter, I would buy my husband Anthony a ranch in Montana. He absolutely loves ranch life, and all that goes into a slower pace of living. He values family time, God's creation, and animals are a passion of his.
